Job Role: Learner Engagement and Attendance Lead

Contract: Term-time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £22,525 – £24, 804 per annum (FTE)

Your Purpose

Our Learner Engagement and Attendance Leads proactively support our learners who are persistently absent from schools. This is achieved by positively engaging with the learners to identify their personal barriers and find innovative solutions to improve their attendance and engagement with education. 

We Need

We need someone who has experience working with children and young people who have additional educational needs and have spent significant amounts of time out of education. Our successful candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to approach their work holistically to achieve positive outcomes for our learners. Our learners need someone who is empathetic, patient and vicariously cares about their futures. 

There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
