Job Role: SEN Primary Teacher
Contract: Term-time Permanent/ 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 – £35,360
Your Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people across a range of ages and teach them an engaging and exciting curriculum to further their life chances. We are looking for the suitable candidate to be able to teach lessons to learners on a 1:1 or small group basis.
You will be required to-
Plan and deliver quality programmes of study to learners who are hard to engage or have additional needs.
Support and maintain a high level of learner engagement through preparation and delivery of an innovative, creative and flexible curriculum.
To support all designated Learning Managers with the completion of all assessments, pupil tracking documents, progress reports and feedback reports to commissioning bodies e.g. Education, Health and Care plans, KS2,KS3 & KS4 transition planning, and post 16 opportunities.
We Need
We need a member of staff who has the skills and experience to deliver to learners ranging form ages 7-19. While the majority of learners are from KS3 upwards, an understanding of the primary phase is beneficial due to the nature of learner needs. All of our learners have additional needs, so a passion and desire to work with learners with SEN is essential.
There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
